new member- in Ottawa for next year
Hi. moving from NS to Ottawa for one year. sadly, too much travel this summer to join as a member, so going to explore the courses as best I can. looking to this site to learn more about how to take advantage of Ottawa courses
am i able to carry an official handicap by registering on this site, or do I need to register with the Public Player program?
cheers

First...welcome...glad to have you! You'll love Ottawa for golf and there are easily 100+ courses within 90 mins. I would strongly suggest that you look at Ottawa's discount golf offerings to truly take advantage of all the golf world has to offer here. You pay an upfront fee to be a member, and then pay discount prices to play. Each of these clubs offers between 50-70 different courses you can access at these discounted rates. I'll PM you with a couple of websites for you to check out. I am sure you won't be disappointed in any of these clubs.
