Stonebridge GC on The Golf Club
3 Versions so far published.
I plan on doing different/harder pin locations, but it won't be right away!
Stonebridge GC - Ottawa(Tour)
Elongated in places for console gaming.
Stonebridge GC - Ottawa(Black - A - ProTee)
6450 Yards.
Stonebridge GC - Ottawa(Blue - A - ProTee)
5993 Yards.
A video of it being played:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzGt--YZSrY
I KNOW THEY ARE NOT PERFECT, But it's pretty damn close for someone who has played the course a handful of times.
On the ProTee versions, the 18th is playing as a Par 4, not a Par 5. The creator automatically changed the par when I moved the tees, and I missed it. I can't change what is already published.
You'll notice the lack of houses on the course. No variety and even so, they are a resource hog.
I know some of the elevations may be off, and I know some of the greens are off.
I was going by pictures and memory.
I know the surrounding roads are not drawn, I was focusing on the course only. All the bells and whistles are just resources leading to potential lag issues.
Please feel free to email me if there are any questions, concerns, etc.

I have played this both in real life and on TGC. Great replication. It's listed as one of my favorites.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had the chance to play this.
TGCT2 is coming out next year, and I plan on updating the course, it sure would be nice to get some help from people who KNOW the course so I can get this as close to perfect as possible. (Houses on the course will most likely NOT be an option)

I have played it several times this week. I would love some tips on course design. I get incredibly frustrated moving dirt to make elevations etc.

The best tip I can give you is start with the terrain and work up. Zero everything. Water. Bunkers, trees, ect. Next layout holes, the add everything. It's hard but easy once you get the hang of it.

I'll really look forward to this one being updated for TGC2...one of my favourite courses in terms of a good layout and definite real-world feel.

When you make elevations, use the softer edge brushes to raise or lower. The use the flatten option with the fuzzy round/oval brushes to smooth the edges of your elevations. Look at it from various angles to really get a feel for how the brushes are reacting. Just takes some trial and error.

I don't know how many people use TGC2019 on their home simulators, but I just updated Stonebridge to try and get it as close as possible yardage wise. (Prior to destruction!)

Wow. Haven’t heard from this forum in years. Stonebridge TGC was better than the real course. I’ll check it out.

Any chance of this being converted for 2K21?
