    Where we playing first and what date

    Since most of us have the winter blues about this time, i thought it would fun to see what people think will be the opening day and where. March 20th and Prescott for me would be a good guess. I was in Prescott 2 weeks ago and no snow on the ground. Wonder what it looks like today?

    2 weeks ago I would have said late march somewhere around prescott as there was no snow a half hour south of Ottawa. Now I have no idea, depends on how quickly it melts. More snow today and next week but it looks like it is warming up so perhaps early april?
    I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

    If you have a look at the "Historical Weather" on the Environment Canada website, you will notice under "Snow on the Ground" that Brockville (close to Prescott) has only 14 cm of snow on the ground, whereas, we have 43 cm as of March 5. With this week's warm temperatures, it would not be surprising if most if not all the snow along the Seaway will be gone. Soon after, Prescott will likely open.

    Marcos, did we have a date and course for the first round of the year for people in the area?? I assume it was Prescott, can't remember which day it was.
