After reading some more tweets it's apparently a firmware update to hmt, for fitting putters...

You only get AOA, path and club head speed.

I have HMT using the 4 dot system. If I upgrade the firmware to utilize one dot, do I lose any functionality? PP said you only get AOA path and club head speed. Do you still get impact point on the face? I am debating if it's worth upgrading to one dot, but i dont want to lose any functionality.

You can still use 4 dots with 4.0. With 1 you get less peramiters. That's it. You lose a lot of data. Better to use 4.

Then I suppose I stick to 4 dots for the majority of my clubs and maybe do one dot for the putter now that it can see the putter.
