    To much spin

    Hello never posted a thread here but was wondering if anyone can help out. I have lost a lot of distance this year with very high amounts of total spin (4500-5000) after watching many instructional videos I have managed to lower it to about 3600. I'm only going by the screen at golftown but I can tell on the course when I've hit that ballooning awful riser. Could a possible driver fitting get me down to respectable numbers or do you think it's still the mechanics of the swing?

    My spins were averaging 3500 to 4500 with my G20. I went a got fit with a G30 And the best match for me was the G30 LS tech. I'm now hitting the ball way further. The cost of the new driver was well worth the investment for me. My spins are now down below 2500 on avg and some below 1800.

    So you were able to lower the spin that much with a fitting and no changes to your swing?

    No swing changes. The other great bonuses that I saw switching to the G30 was that my smash factor went from the 1.43 to 1.45 range all the way up to 1.48 to 1.50.
