Question on Impact Screen - Ball impact leaves dents

So i just hooked up my simulator and hit a couple of balls into the net. After every hit the ball leaves a dent the size of a my forearm. is this normal or do i need to pull the screen tighter? It's pretty tight already and just wanted a sanity check. Thanks guys!
