    Unhappy Airport Golf Range Closed - Forever?

    Just to save people the trouble of driving all the way out there to find this out (like I did Sunday morning!) ... it looks like they are tearing up the Airport Golf Range to build some town houses.

    All I know is that it is closed now and looks like forever. Anyone have additional info?

    If this is true they'll make a fortune on the land. It's a prime location other than the planes flying over your head every 30 seconds.

    Yep, Airport Golf Range is no more. Monarch Homes bought it and is putting townhouses on it.

    Longwood is building singles where the range was, and Monach is building townhomes where the old Airport Drive-in used to be...

    If you've ever crammed four people in a Datsun at the drive-in, you'll feel right at home at one of the townhome unit here

    Does that mean they are closing the Park 'N Fly? Because that is were the old drive-in used to be.

    From what the sales rep mentioned, yes..
    I think there are several lots for park'n fly, the one adjacent to the range is definitely allocated for the sub devision now.
