THE OFFICIAL 2013 OG vs TGN RYDER CUP THREAD

Folks,
Here we go again! Time to start thinking about defending the Cup!

Some details still need to be worked out however I know some people need lots of time in advance to plan for a weekend away,therefore I am starting the thread for registration with a 99% accuracy on the date!

The 2013 event will take place on June 8th and June 9th with the option to play a practice round on June 7th.

The 2013 event will be taking place at Trillium Woods in Belleville Ontario.

I am still waiting on confirmation from TGN, but I hope we can keep the rosters at 20 players minimum!

Returning players will get priority and then we will pick from the alternate list... first come, first serve!

1. People, only post if you are at least 95% sure that you can attend. We would ideally like to avoid the last minute scramble to fill spots that were supposed to be "locks".
2. Make sure you have a valid handicap by May 1st 2013. For new players, please ascertain that you have a 15 or better handicap for the sake of the competition. We usually face a TGN team with solid handicaps and it is no fun for them to have to spot large amounts of shots. Youir handicap must be tracked on the OG site or RCGA. RCGA is preferred and recomended!
3. Deposit secures your spot ($100) , payable up to May 1st , this will lock you in for the tourney .If you bail out after that date , it is up to you to find a replacement in order to get your money back (only exceptions are personal and medical issues)

I was hoping to do this thing this year if there was a spot. However, now that numero deux is expected in early May, that will not happen.

Yes, Mr Pare, there will be a 3 year old and a newborn this summer. You're right, they grow way too fast. Golf certainly does become a secondary pleasure!
