Niagara golf trip
Hi everyone, I am planning a group golf trip for June and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I have read over some of the other niagara threads, however I am looking for a stay and play package deal to simplify some of the arrangements. Looking for something in close proximity to casino and nightlife, which also provides an enjoyable golf experience.
Any advice helps as I have never had the pleasure of visiting niagara before.
Thanks,

We did something similar a couple of years ago and enjoyed our golf, accomodations were acceptable.

I have played pretty much all the courses in the area and Grand Niagara is by far my favorite. Its about a 10 minute drive out of town but the course is awesome..

You can't really go wrong with the Legends Courses (two 18 hole courses)... but I prefer Grand Niagara.Proud Member BigJohnnys Ryder Cup Team '08

I'm with Lance, I've played most of them and Grand Niagara is head and shoulders above the rest. I liked the Legends courses too, I think I preferred Battlefields to Ussher's Creek, but it wasn't by much.
We also played all 3 9s at Royal Niagara and I hated 2 of them. Weird layout and lots of bad holes. I'd stay away from there even though they have a nice set-up with the White Oaks Resort.

i dont know if they still have golf packages but i've stayed at the Hilton, it is right across the street from the Casino, Battlefield was good, if you want a classic old course go to Whirlpool, Pennisula lakes is another golf complex

Hi
Played them all, Legends is your best bet. Two courses and played from differant tees you can mix it up. Also find Whirlpool good. Stay away from Pen Lakes , to far, rude and over priced.

You have to play Whirlpool. Stanley Thompson classic. Another hidden gem - newer course- is in Welland which is 15 mins away, called Lochness Links. Good prices, and a great layout. Penn Lakes is a great course, the two original nines are very good - its built in a quarry and its a great layout.

If anyone is interested in a stay and play package in Niagara, I would be happy to offer you a quick quote:
https://bestgolftrips.ca/niagara-golf-packages/
Our packages work with the top ranked area golf courses (Grand Niagara, Peninsula Lakes, Legends and Whirlpool), and can provide you quotes from up to 6 hotels, from high value hotels to high-end.
