travel agent/travel site
can anyone recommend a good local travel agent or good travel site for which to research and book a vacation?
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Jeff, here are some that I have look at and some that I have use...
http://www.yourtraveltickets.com/index.php
http://www.redtag.ca/
http://www.searstravel.ca/en/home.aspx
http://www.travelzoo.com/ca/
http://voyagesarabais.com/fr/accueil.html . . . . . (French)
http://www.voyagesbergeron.com/ . . . . . . (French)
You will see the prices are pretty much the same at all of them... Good luck!If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

I've used expedia , selloffvacations.com , itravel2000.com and redtag.com and they're all good. I believe selloffvacations.com has offices dotted around the country if you wanted to speak to someone in person.
I had no issues those companies with any of our trips , in fact , they turned out to be better than we expected.
Also tripadvisor.com is a decent reference for hotels etc , but don't read too much into the user reviews , as you cannot please everyone. At the end of the day ... It gets dark
