11:20 here.
Speaking of it, is there anyone here who knows the course? It would be very helpful to have a hole-by-hole walk-through of the course. I've played there two years ago, but all I remember are small well-bunkered fast greens, and also that some holes were a little tricky without course knowledge.

78 wins the B class?
What kind of scores do the A class winners shoot?
Looks like big old trees, small greens and people say super fast greens... yikes!!!

Well... It sure was hot the other day. Although it was a nice course and in good shape, I can't say I will rush back. There were no exciting holes, nothing that makes you say "wow, what a good golf hole" so it gets ok reviews from me.
The greens were super fast for sure. I believe 11.3 is what they said...

I found the fairways very tough to hit from. They were hard underneath and it prefer softer fairways... I hit 13 of 14 fairways and shot 82. I have never struggled more hitting greens form 140 yards and in...
Didn't stick around for prizes.

Shot 86 in the Monday A class and never hit the ball better all year. just couldn't score. Greens were very firm and tough to hold them. Pins were tucked in nasty positions on Monday. Overall though, a great Tournament on a great Golf course. This was the 52nd Cornwall open and I try to go every year. I would recommend anyone on this site to go next year if you get a chance.
By the way, does anyone know where results for this tourney can be found?Last edited by BillD; 09-03-2008 at 06:17 PM. Reason: Addition
