    Shaft Lengths

    I want to reshaft my Taylor made R5 Driver 10.5 from the stock stiff shaft to the Fujuikara 360 reg. I am thinking of going 44.5 inches long. Any comments on the length.

    Shorter=more control=better contact=usually more yards. Give it a shot, you can always put an extension in it later if you prefer the longer length.

    sounds perfect. that is normally what i play mine at.
    I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

    i use to play mine at a 47 when i had +3/4 in my irons
    when i got new irons i never bothered making them longer
    now i play standard length
    i really didnt notice a difference between the 2 lengths other than if i went after the 47" and it got away, it was 2 fairways over
    now if i go after it i seem to hook it?
