OG vs TGN Ryder Cup- Trash

What do people think of booking at the Holiday Inn Express? Brand new in 2007 from what I can tell and seems to have lots of rooms remaining.

It also looks like the hotel is only a par 5 away from the Best Western.

I haven't been in there myself, but I know some business associates that say it's very nice. Of course you know, if you stay there, after the OG team goes home licking their wound they can use the line, "I don't play golf, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night".

My guess is that they probably just thought you were an Ottawa Senator's player and just assumed you were booking a tee time knowing you were going to be eliminated tonight!

The only difference is WE (OG) earned that right to say it after last year....

As I 'blurted out' to someone from TGN when we were all getting our pictures taken with the Ryder Cup he asked 'Hey, how do we get our pictures taken with that'.... rushing out of my mouth without a 2nd thought was ' win the Freaking tournament' I thought a few guys from OG were going to piss their pants and the look on the guys face was priceless.

Speaking of stories, is anyone bringing a DVD player to watch movies?

Not that I'm making comparisons but, one of the guys on the NCGT roadtrip brings a surround sound set up, and LCD projector, and we watch movies outside in the parking lot.

One of the funniest things ever, happened a couple of years ago in Kingston. We're all sitting around outside watching Caddy Shack (duh), bigger than life on the wall of the hotel, and it's the scene where Ty and Lacey are messing around with the baby oil. An older couple drives by slowly, and we hear the woman in the car say, "OMG, they're watching porn!" We all lost it. I swear they could hear us laughing back here in Ottawa.
