What STYLE of irons do you use
Personally, I use tiny, tiny, Cleveland TA 588 blades...despite being a twenty cap. If only my short game matched my iron game.

I voted blades, since my traditional irons from 6-PW are buttery Wishon 550Ms.
However I play hybrids from 2i-5i.

I have Macgregor tourny forged cavity backs. I like them they are small for a cavity back.

Even though I play a DIY combo set (4-6 Titleist 695CB, 7-PW Titleist 695MB), I say blades as i'd trade in the remaining CB's for MB's in a second.

Wilson Staff Tour Blades - FG-51 - 5 to 9 and 60 degree wedge. Depending on the course and conditions, the 2, 3 and 4 could also be in the bag. If they aren't, then the 2, 3 and 4 Hogan hybrids are there.
