3 Wheel PGA Tour Golf Cart @ Costco - $59.97

was just curious if anyone's had a chance to check out the PGA Tour branded 3 Wheel Golf pull cart at costco.

the price is definitely right at $60, but I would have preferred something with actual wheels / tires on them rather than plastic / rubber ones ... i.e something that uses air rather than moulded plastic.

anyways ... it certainly fits the budget as I have contemplating making the stretch on a Sun Mountain cart.

The Sun Mountain is $249 and the Bag Boy is $199, so for $60, how gtood could this thing be?

which costco? my wife has been keeping an eye out but hasn't seen any at the Mervale/Hunt Club costco.

They also have some at Sportcheck but cant remember the price. But they arent Sun Mountain. Merivale mall location.

I was just there Monday - that's where I got the idea. There must have been about 6-7 of them still in boxes.

right next to the 2 nautica umbrellas (great deal) for $20 (golf & personal one).

I went there last night <Wednesday> for something else (garden lights?) ... and there WAS 6-7 on Monday, but only 1 left yesterday.

I had a look at the said item and my thoughts were that the cart seemed a buit heavy and I wondered how the plastic wheels would be over actuall golf course terrain. Other than that, it seemed quite nice.

Those big plastic type of wheels have been used for years before Sun Mountain and others brought out the pnuematic tire ones. With 3 wheels they may last a bit longer, but I have known people who had used those types of wheeled carts for years.
