Sorry about that Chief. There was no intention of it being rude. I was just simply saying that I dont really deloft my club when I hit. In fact sometimes I dont even take a divit.
I said smack for a reason. I could have said alot meaner. My apopologies

I would hit a 6 iron.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

Medium 5 or full 6. I polled a 5 since I have more control with that iron at that distance.

I'd probably pull out a 5 and then pray that I make solid contact.

Same 5 iron for me. Although I'll say that the likelihood of it hitting the green is much better.

4 iron.
I'm still proud of my length.

You're full of doggy doo-doo, you hit a 6 iron for that distance at best, probably a 7

If I ever learn to swing through the ball with my irons these yardages will increase. But for now, it is what it is...

No wonder you couldn't hit PX 6.0's.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

From 170yds I'd like to hit more greens. Might actually help my score.

Can I change my club choice to a cut 2 hybrid? In 50 years of golf I'm sure I've tried a cut shot a few times.

I'd have to change irons - but am unsure to what as I'm still figuring out my Burner Plus's. I had answered 5 iron but I've hit my 6 iron 180+. So it's likely a 7.

Have to agree with Johnny here. I was testing out the TM Burners during demo week, and I was hitting the 7 iron a good high 160's to low 170's. Tested out the adam's cb's, and back to 150-160's. Using my Srixon's now at the same sim and in the 150's-160's. I think the burner's have stronger lofts. That or they're much better sticks then the Adams and Srixons.

There was a 1" diff in lofts between my old rac's and the newer Burners. I agree this has something to do with it but the majority of the difference is due to my swing start. Every since I read to start the swing with your hands pretending you are pulling on a chain (Golf Digest - sometime in 2010); I've been pounding it much further. (Back willing) If I could spend more time in the 'range' maybe the distance would help more.

It'd be an 8 iron for me.

After careful reconsideration, I am changing my answer. When faced with 170 yards this season, I will hit Gap Wedge, followed by Sand Wedge.
