With this weather I doubt the snow will be gone from the fairways for a couple more weeks.

When I was driving past Stonebridge on the Saturday, they only had a few small piles of snow on the fairways. I don't think it will take much to get rid of that. It's the frost in the ground that will take a bit I would think.

Nation
Just got off of the phone with a guy at Nation. He says that they will know more tomorrow, but may open this weekend, or if not, very early next week, Monday or Tuesday.
A whole lot of good it will do me, I'm in Edmonton :cryingIt could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Tee off - Saturday and Sunday
The sun is shinning, the birds are chirping and the links are beckoning to us all. My wife and I can hardly wait - we'll be teeing off on Saturday and Sunday at Calabogie. And to top it off, it will be this seasons first money game with Chris. The competition begins! What could be better than that.

Ahhh Steve... and no invites to the OttawaGolf community eh?? Just kidding.. I hope that you have a good one. I'll be stuck hitting balls on some golf course that should remain nameless (it's not open yet but how can someone resist an open fairway 150 feet from the deck of a house)...

Gatineau ...
Drove by Aylmer rd last friday afternoon. Royal Ottawa (quite a bit of snow left in the deep slopes) Champlain (18th fairway was also covered with some snow) and Gatineau (will most likely open before the weekend) ... as for Chateau Cartier ( that course drains fairly well but the holes along the river banks are most likely under water. But it wont be long now

Played GAtineau yesterday - man is it wet! Balls don't even go in the water, they stay on the ice - Not too say I put any there ( wink wink ). Round was fun, weather was nice. Greens are guarded by snow banks but oh well!

Calabogie
I was out at Calabogie on Monday and the conditions were very good (even better than expected). It was well worth the drive.
