Practice Nets
Does anyone have a training net such as the ones found at the following links
http://www.izzo.com/products/cagemouth-nets.asp
http://www.golfsmith.com/ppage.php?stynum=65333
Are they helpful, I have a big backyard where one would fit just nicely. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

trainning net
Hi Fierce,
I went to Wal-mart the other day and saw a trainning net for 14.99$ ... not your top of the line but does the job ... I cant wait for spring so i can set it up in my back yard !!!
I think they're great to have if your in the mood to hit a few balls and practice your swing and you don't have time to go to the range !
Practice is practice !

Thanks CiscoPat I'll check it out. I'd be just worried about the netting and putting a ball through my neighbours window.

beware
I've done that.
Just a few precautions. Make sure there are no holes in your net. There will be some holes after a while. I've got dents in my garage door to show for it. Make sure the net sits flush at the bottom. Make sure the net is not too tight and that you're a safe distance from it otherwise you may slice yourself and not the ball. If you don't want to spend a fortune and if you have a clothing line just hang a thick blanket and there you have it. Aesthetically wise it does not look all that great but it does the job. Last but not least. DON'T practice when kids are running around. Drive safely. Cheers.Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

practice net
I have a practice net, Athletic works Golf Practice Net from Wal Mart...never used. 7' x 9' includes mesh netting, nylon rope, steel tubing & hardware, compact and convenient. I got it for Christmas but haven't got the room to set it up in my backyard. I'll give it away for nothing, you just pick it up.
