Ebay Seller Experience
I posted this also on our sister Toronto site but have to pass on my feelings.
I know many who haven't bought through ebay often don't because of worries over quality of item, duty fee's etc.
I had to do this post to acknowledge someone.
I bought some dimplit Grip Bite gloves. Can't find them here, and cost including shipping worked out to about half what I would pay for comparable here.
Was supposed to arrive USPS. Seller and I had a few pleasant conversations during sale so in the end he shipped by UPS thinking he was doing me a favor. i.e. they are quicker/trackable.
Problem is they arrive today, UPS guy says "It's C.O.D. I need $22.69 from you" This for gloves that cost me $27.72! Unbelievable!
I have heard horror stories on UPS but almost double!
So I contact seller by email and wow within an hour I get 1. an apology 2.promise to ship cdns by USPS for sure in future 3. A credit to Paypal, transferred to my cc $22.69 already done today!
If you are unsure about ebay, it is a great tool for alot of items at a lower price.
I am posting this guy's ebay store here in case you ever want an example of someone who is unbelievable in cust svc. called:

Yes , when i order things to france, i have to pay 20% tax, if i order with UPS. With USPS it's tax free, so that's the problem with UPS.

I agree, will never use UPS ever for anything. Even if item appears really cheap, you just never know what they would add.
On a personal level will never use them to deliver anything either."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

Just to add one more seller.
Had a shirt not arrive even though time frame has passed. Rather than make me wait longer seller issued me a full refund including shipping.
Only seems to sell O'neill snow stuff, or a neat Callaway/Hogan/Top flite pull over that I ordered as it is pretty unique.
But typically we only comment when things go wrong, so that some kudos to this guy!

There are so many good retailers, maybe the best ones are those who don't have sold thousands of items.
