Has anyone played Cascades yet this year? Are they even opened yet? Was wondering what kind of conditions they had thus far. I know last year I went fairly early and it was soaked. Let me know.

I played the course on Monday May 10th. Mont Cascade has a brand new fleet of carts, which were being used for the first time yesterday. The new carts include a windshield and a cover for you bag if it rains.
The course itself has dried out nicely. The greens were a little slow because they had not been cut recently, but they played very well with only a few small brown spots on certain holes. The fairways are also in good condition.
When we were there they did have one temporary green on number ten, and they may start doing similar work later in the week on other greens (but I am not sure). As far as I am concerned, the course is worth the trip especially if you have a free pass from the golf show :-) . As always, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Played Cascades today (May 23rd). The greens were in the worst conditions i've seen, maybe of any course. Too bad, I love this course.
Has anybody played Cascade the last few days? Is it in good condition? How are the greens?
Thanks
See the post above yours... :-)Quote:
