Anyone know what the Sun-Thurs coverage looks like?
Whoops Thurs-Sun.
I think TSN is starting coverage at either 6 or 6:30am Thurs and Fri.
TSN has coverage 7-10AM with a 06:30 pre-show. Also they have live coverage of three of the holes on TSN.ca
Looks like it may be a good day to work from home tomorrow. Trying to get a US Open feed here sucked hard.
It never ceases to amaze me that people want other people to do their searching for them... It's on the google people!

Not that I mind, but...
Why do you open the threads then 3jack? I'm just asking a question.
I'm just sayin', you're on the internet after all ;)
Dudes, I was just pointing out that there are search services at your disposal, and one can search for the information just as easily as another. I guess I touched a nerve, my apologies.
Live online coverage of holes 9, 10, & 11 on tsn.ca -- http://watch.tsn.ca/live-on-tsnca/clip193172#clip193172 prior to network coverage.
There is a tendency to infer tone in both email and in forum posts, and while I have apologized earlier in this thread, but will again. No offense intended.
I opened the thread "British Open Coverage" thinking we may be discussing something other than readily available broadcast schedules - hoping to get a chance to discuss the merits of assigned broadcasters or some such.
So for John to ask me not to open a thread, perhaps labeling the subject in a more appropriate manner is in order in the future, as I inferred something different from the thread subject than was his intention.
Similarly, if my delivery offends, that is out of my control, as it every individual interpretation cannot be controlled. What I will say, once again, is while I regret the inferences gleaned, I do not regret pointing out that television broadcast schedules are easily found with a bit of searching - a pet peeve of mine, of which there are many. I trust that you have your own peeves, and are sometimes wont to disguise them.
i prefer this approach ;-)

thats hilarious
I just about sent an email to the 2 bbc guys (who are desperate for a viewer interactive email btw) along the lines of "Hi this is Sakuraba from Canada, what do you think of Mike Weir's chances (or some such banal question) & then pipe in who do you like in the 09 Ryder Cup in Belleville? Ottawa or Toronto?" feel fry to try it the email is golf@bbc.co.uk subject line INTERACTIVE
Well, they did spend some time talking about what they thought the cut would be tomorrow if the weather held (I was distracted briefly by stupid work) & I never heard if they referenced my email. We should flood their inbox with OGF vs TGN Ryder Cup questions!
That was an exceptional webcast, tsn sure got it right this time. I had it on a widescreen monitor today, and enjoyed it immensely. Almost as good as watching it on tv.
Can't this Yankee network properly air the British Open? They forced a delay of the broadcast. At the moment they are 3 or 4 holes behind the play. In addition, they are fixated on Tiger at the expense of showing us other players on the course, including some (Sergio, for instance) who are mounting a bit of a move. You'd never know anyone is doing anything, since these dunces are fixated on only a handful of players. I hate ABC Sports. Now I feel better for having vented.
It's ABC, but I hear you.
I managed to watch all 7.5 hours of yesterdays coverage in about 2.5 hours thanks to commercials, silly banter, etc.
Too bad TSN doesn't pick up the BBC feed.
Anyone experience this?
Can't watch the Open on 546. All my other HD channels work though!
WOW, Tiger is just fallin' all over the place, +5 just on today's back 9 through 4, holy cr@p!!
I hate to chime in with the obvious, but are you really surprised by this? \
Here's a guy who has the second most majors in history by the age of 33 who amps tv ratings just by his presence, and by both how well, and how poorly he plays. Both are stories, and its nearly a bigger story when he plays poorly as he is today - because it's just as rare as winning a major.
TV broadcasters seek the lowest common denominator, and in this case it is to draw the attention and viewship of those who perhaps play golf a handful of times a year or not at all, yet are compelled to watch because of Tiger and his associated celebrity.
Unfortunately, hardcore golf fans like yourself, are part of, but are not the majority of the audience, and make up a smaller portion of the viewing pie. You'll watch anyway. It's those who won't unless Tiger is on, who they desperately need to keep.
Just turned the tv off.
I want to cry. What is Tiger doing!! Damn! I was hoping he would do well.....guess not :@
