Putter Finish & Care Question
Having just crossed to the dark side and purchased a Studio Design #5, I was told that I should use a silicon cloth to keep it nice and shiney.
Well, the first time I used it I cleaned up all nice and shiney and gave it a wipe with the cloth. The next time I played and took it out of the head cover, it had gone from a beautiful multi-color shine to a very shiney black (although the face and sole stayed multi-colored).
What gives? Should I be using a silicon cloth to wipe it or not? Is there any way to restore the multi-color tshine o the conclave part of the putter? (I tried washing it in mild soap and water and that only partially brough the color back).
