Returning misplaced clubs
Played Cedarhill last Monday and on, I believe the 7th hole, I was behind the green on the fringe. I didn't know what my lie would be so brought my Pitch, and 7 Iron (and Putter). I used my Pitch and forgot my 7 on the fringe. I like to play fast and rushed off to the next tee without looking around.
On the 9th hole I realized my mistake and asked the marshall to see if he could go back and take a look. He did and couldn't find the club. He said he asked the groups trailing us (Members as I recall) and they 'said' they hadn't seen it.
I've called a few times since and still nothing.:grumpy:
WTF!!!
This is the second time I've lost a club out of likely 10 times misplacing a club. The first time was also at a premium Corporate Golf club - Pakenham. There, the low life scumball kept my TM 3 wood Rescue MD. (Two years ago)
So, If you ever see a guy with one Taylormade RAC 7 Iron and no other TM's in his bag call him on it. (Or just don't trust his score)
The irony is that the club wasn't even pristine. It had a noticeable chip on the bottom from a rock on the 11th hole at Cobden.
