The Sens stupid late season push
Is anyone else thoroughly annoyed with this late season push? I mean, it's great that they're playing well, but all they're doing is playing themselves out of a good draft pick (unless of course NYI are willing to trade their number 1 pick for Jason Spezza). I can't decide whether I even want this team to make the playoffs (as unlikely as that is). It seems to me they'd be better off not making it, so that there's at least a chance Melnyk will fire Murray and the new GM can dump Spezza. Then again, there is always a chance, the way Montreal is playing, that if ottawa wins 9 of their last 10, they MIGHT squeek in to the playoffs. Which, if nothing else, would qualify Cory Clouston for the Jack Adams and a Cabinet position.
