Mystery is over. Online play at Village of Glen Ellyn Golf Course. Course has a bug with the mini map. Shot analysis does no longer shows up during online play.

Ok my interest has spiked.....
Can we talk about how much the software will be?
Z who did you play with? Oops I see it was Bubba.
Also the delay is almost none once Bubba hit his ball. Very nice.
And thanks for your work on this...
Wow, so does this mean the GC2 can use protee play? That will increase their sales as it does not require any setup.
Hang tight guys. Like we have been saying, there is plenty "MORE" to come.
SFR,
No info on price yet.
A tear just fell from my eye....... and I have to change my shorts.....
Absolutely bubba22. More good things coming for Protee.
The GC2 handles putts fine on Proteeplay, but I still prefer putting on the Protee putting sensor.
That is awesome! More people to play with online, great stuff guys!
Bubba22, could you please move those videos and comments to this thread? Thanks.
Hey Z, you were looking to try the GC2 with the HMT for your test. I assume you do not need the HMT to play what you did in the demo above or did you?
Also I find getting the GC2 lined up with the Club fitting area where you have the center line down your target line to be important. Moving the GC2 ever so slightly to get it lined up so that when your ball hits that line the GC2 starts the sim ball in the exact same spot. How would you have set up to do your demo or just do the best by eyeball?
I like the idea of being able to adjust spin and ball speed for the use of practice balls and as far as putting goes on the GC2, I like it actually now that I know how to read the hint line and set it up to just hit stright on the GC2. After that the only thing is to get your weight figured out.
Also is the plan to have what works on the Pro Tee work on the GC2 as far as courses go?
If you ever need more testers.... count me in.
SFR the putting on the ProTee Play is different than Foresight. No more testers needed but follow Z's posts for more info coming soon.
You'll be getting protee play, the same software that we use. So you get all courses.
Good work Z. ..ETA.? FS not going to serve a cease and desist?
For the record, Neither I, nor anybody here, had anything to do with this aside from beta testing.
I'm a bit lost... will we have to pay for ProteePlay?
So essentially we'll load ProteePlay with all the courses and play that software vs you guys with the CG2? That's ready in a week? What's the pricetag on this software? Is that the 1-2k you were talking about a few weeks ago?
Yes, you'll be able to play against a protee owner, another GC2 owner, or anybody that is using ProteePlay. No price yet.
Also, up to 8 players can play online in one game.
That's the one Hogan. Looks like FS predadory pricing may have come back to bite them in the a##. Good one Protee.
Catching on!
Testing E6 tomorrow hopefully!
Does this require the Performance software to work or just the unit? I can see FS trying some legal action on this though. Even if it's legit they've collected a lot of money to keep attorneys on retainer to protect their patents and software even if it's not really their software(courses). If they can't win that way they may start encrypting the output data which would make it useless unless that could be cracked as well. If that's the case you won't be updating your firmware anytime soon. I don't know, this is going to be interesting to follow......
Don't need performance software, just the unit plus proteeplay and Protee interface. New firmware could stop this. It's currently working with the latest 3.3.0.0. Just keep the current firmware available before updating to the latest, or don't update at all.
yeah, pretty cool. I just knew this was doable.
Like we've been saying, you can't keep your head up your assshole forever. This might just be the beginning of the end....more to come...
