Needless to say these lived up to their billing and then some.
Specs: 3-PW w/ DGS 300, standard length, lofts and lies (for Tourstage, almost 2* from most OEM though)
Distance: Clubs were 1/2 to full club longer all day. Most likely because of the stronger lofts as opposed to my 990s. Dialing in distances will probably take a few rounds but will come with practice.
Accuracy: Clubs were quite accurate. Rarley did a ball travel off line too much. The wind affected ball flight today more than side spin or bad swings.
Feel: Buttery soft. :drooling :drooling :drooling By far the softest feeling clubs I've ever hit. Even on mi****s the vibration/feedback was quite muted. Not much of a stinger at all. And that is with Royal Grip cords on them.
Ball flight: I tend to have a lower ball flight, but these have a nice mid height and piercing flight.
Playability: Not much offset, a nice sized cavity and very forgiving for a "player's" club. Easy to play out of any lie. Long irons are a dream to hit, very easy to get them airborne and on line.
Looks: Just beautiful clubs. One of, if not the best, looking club I've ever had in my bag.
Have only played one round with them, and didn't get a chance to hit them at the range first. So will provide some more feedback once I get a few more rounds in with them. But based on my first impressions I would highly recommend these clubs to anyone considering purchasing them. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :-)
