Driver shaft advice?
I spent some time at GT yesterday trying big sticks. I'm in a rebuild since my two sons are starting lessons later this week - hence, quality time with the kids and the wife can't blast me for golfing anymore - insert fist-pump smiley here ;-)
My 3 or 4 year hiatus has definitely impacted my swing - the years themselves more than anything - lol. My driver numbers haven't changed significantly, apart from a slight drop in ss, which I'm sure I can get back. On an avg with 10 swings, dropping the best and worst, I'm 3mph slower than I used to be, I still have a tendency to pull the ball, and I still have a naturally high flight with low spin (sub 2k).
I went through about 10 drivers, with the top two being a 915d2 and a M2. The Titleist felt the best to me, but I've always loved the feel and sound of Titleist drivers. The M2 was a surprise, as I've never been a fan. The biggest drives came off the Titleist with the stock Diamana 60 S, but dispersion wasn't great. The rep brought out the M2 with a Speeder and set ay 10.5 loft - not great. I got terrible spin with it. He then dropped it to 9.5 and put a Kuro Kage 60 s in there - launch hovered around 15 - 16*, with spins in the 2200 range. Distance was respectable with carries topping around 250 (was in mid 260's with the 915), but it had a noticeably tighter dispersion, and even a couple clear misses rolled out to the 280 range total.
Advice part - as tempting as it is, I'm loathe to spend $500 plus on a driver - esp a TM, knowing it'll be on clearance for $200 in a couple months. I can get a peach of a deal on a 915d2 locally, but it has a Diamana 60 R in it. Given Titleist's propensity to hold value, I'm leaning strongly towards picking it up, re-shafting it, and playing it for the rest of the summer (high time I replace the very unforgiving I15 I've been playing). As such, and as per comments from the rep yesterday, I need something with good tip stability given I have quick wrists (power hitter at ball), but that will generate a bit more spin as I have a low spinning strike anyway. I do a 3/4 back-swing, and power through the ball, so most of my power is loaded in the lower quadrant of my swing.
Sooo...any suggestions for a shaft that would mate up well with the 915 to accomplish this?

Never mind. Hit gt again today. M2 with Rogue S is the perfect set up, and the 915 doesn't come close to it for me.
