You would think they would just come out and provide a date.. I guess they are trying to get the most season ticket sales they can.

A guy I work with paid almost $1400 US for 4 300-Level seats for game 4.
148.00 for standing room! Yikes!
Apparently there will be less than a 1000 available to the public.
Easily payable and I don't make a lot of money.. This is the Stanley cup boyzz!! I read on the site though that you can only buy two tickets at a time.. Kind of sucks.
And club seats are over $400 each from what I have heard.
Pretty crazy! $150 I can do but unfortunately I can't do more. I have a feeling I might have to go downtown to watch this one. :)
I'll sell tickets to watch the game on my 61" HDTV. Bathroom is only 10 feet from the couch!
Team is reporting 900 tickets will be on sale this morning starting at 10 am.. Tickets are in the Coca Cola fun zone and standing room.. Go get em!
i got fortunate enough to buy some 100 level seats for game 3, might possibly have a couple available soon!! :P

damn if you head over to capital tickets they have a thing saying you are in a queue just whe nyou load their main page ... wish i'd known that, i'd have opened the page earlier :@
although there's a good chance it's not queuing ppl, just delaying attempts to access, so people don't bog the site down b4 the tickets go o nsale

I had no luck, even with 10 firefox pages set to auto reload every 3 seconds (staggered of course), and dozens of ie windows open :(

lots of tickets for sale on ebay, of coures you will pay through the nose....
i thought eBay had a zero tolerance on scalping? Though you had to get face value at most for tickets on there ...
oh, found their ticket policy, you can turn profit, but not break local laws in doing so :
"Ontario residents: Ontario province law limits the resale ticket price for this event location, so your maximum bid cannot exceed $2000.00."
Ontario law is that you can't sell above face value. I think sometimes ebay looks the other way.
Same law here in Alberta but ALL Oilers tickets sell on eBay for higher than face value because EVERY home game is sold out. There's no way eBay can regulate that.Quote:

i'd be careful w/ that. They tend to have 'BS' clauses on laws s othat if someone is obviously attempting to circumvent a law they can still be prosecuted (like selling maps to a kegger, so you aren't technically selling the beer i nthe kegs ... they ca nstill pick you off for it).
I know a guy at work that got 2 pairs, his regular season tics and somehoe got another pair online. He is going to be selling the 2nd pair to pay for the firs pair... and I know he is asking about 7 times the facevalue. I told him to shove them :-)

Given the amount of grief it took to get the beast downstairs, it's not moving any time soon.
I'm in the same boat, the big screen stays downstairs, and the LCD is wall mounted so it stays so hopefully my neighbour can get his out and close to the hot tub too!
A guy I work with did that. Opened the garage and had the big screen there. He had quite the party going throughout the night, with many people on the street joining in on the fun.
The Missus suggest the great outdoor would be a good idea..
