KHL team dies in plane crash

Karel Rachunek, Pavol Dimitra, Josef Vasicek, Ruslan Salei, Karlis Skrastins, and Coach Brad McCrimmon reported among the dead. :(

I saw this on cbc.ca but they had nothing confirmed earlier this morning.
Damn that is crazy.
I often wondered how safe the Russian air service was.

I don't know any of these players personally but I feel like I am going to be sick.

I have been a Brad McCrimmon fan for a long time , back to the days he anchored the Wheat Kings defence on that great team in the late 70's and then his early years playing with the Bruins and Flyers.

This has been a tough past few months regards hockey players and people affliiated with the game being taken from this earth far too soon.

I was thinking the same thing, it's not been a good last few months for the hockey world.
