The only Canadian playing on the DP Tour just missed his first win, losing in a playoff to Australian Lucas Herbert in Japan. Terrific showing for this young man, from Teulon Manitoba, who I think we are going to see on the PGA in the not too distant future.:thumbsup

So looks like Phil is playing the Open. I thought he was banned from PGA events? Will the other -players that have won majors still play even if they are banned?

Great to see Canadians doing so well ! Love to bet a couple of bucks on golf and my big winner past couple of years has been Aaron Cockerill from Manit oba. This is his first PGA tourney and playing very well. Keep an eye on this guy !

What a finish. It dont get any better than that. JT pulled off a superb round to come from behind and win it in a playoff.

Just finished watching Aaron Cockerill from Manitoba finish tied second at the Magical Kenya Open, his best finish yet on the DP World Tour (former European Tour). Hopefully a taste of a bright future for this young man !

After the Covid shortened 2020 LPGA season in which only 18 tournaments were played, the majority of those without fans, the LPGA came roaring back in 2021. Twenty-nine tournaments were played in all, including all five major championships. Fans were able to come back out and see their favorite...

Was that exciting to watch or what ? 6 hole playoff , DeChambeau saved par after hitting his tee shot in the water on the 4th playoff hole , lip outs , DeChambeau hitting bombs , Cantlay clutch putting especially on the 72nd hole to force the playoff.Cantlay is one cool customer.

Canadian pro ladies player Jocelyne Bourassa has passed away a the age of 74. Worth reading up on her accomplishments. May she RIP"

Looking at John Rham's conference right now at the US open and someone asked him what he thought about the other 50% of tour players not being vaccinated? What am i missing here? Are we to assume that half the players are not vaccinated? Thats just nuts !!:thumbsdow

Maybe its just me but saw the players using rangefinders for the very first time in a PGA game yesterday. I knew they could use them on practice rounds but had no idea they could use them during an event. Was this an exemption or can they use them all the time? Never mind, just found an article...

The man could not make a putt on Saturday and Sunday and still shot 72,68. This guy is goin to win often !

Anyone else read up on this Super League? Saudi Arabia sponsored and would pay the best players in the world a crap load of cash to play. The PGA and The European Tour have both said that any players joining this league would be banned from playing on tour. :thumbsdow
