Played Mountain Creek on Thursday and got "surprised" at the course when we were checking in. They told us that 15 greens were punched, and it turned out that some of them had very LARGE punch holes, and NO SAND. Made for miserable chipping and putting.

Is Whitetail walkable, haven't been there yet?

Don't have to tell you to drink a lot of water if you are venturing out on the course next few days. I am playing tomorow and will be carting thank you. Please be careful and aware of heat strokes. No fun at all.

Well pretty much done with outdoor golf this year unless we get some really nice weather. Played yesterday and had enough. On the up side, indoor golf starts Nov 7th for our 4some. My season was pretty crappy as i struggled to stay focused. Hope you all had a good season.

Like i stated a few days ago, Buckingham greens have been crosscut making them a bit hard to put but, they will be okey within a week. The rest of the course is in good shape.

Housing development scheduled to have started this year will be delayed another year. GM Stacie Beverage says that no construction is expected in 2024. Great news for golf on the Tay. I played twice last week and the course was in excellent condition. Although greens were scheduled to be punched...

Why is it so difficult for some courses to give a heads up on aeration..Dragonfly always has it up.on their website kudos to them..however I called Pakenham and a clueless employee did not know if they were doing them this week .I have a tee time Wednesday and don't like surprises when I show up....

Anybody played there recently, years ago it was a real good course, new owner with not much money brought it down big time. Last year I booked a tee times they overcharged me at the course, had a hard time to get my money back and only 2 fairways had green grass on them.

Any update on course conditions lately

To all of you playing today and for the next few days, take it easy and stay hydrated to the max. Cart if you can and conserve your energy. Its not funny getting heat stroke, i know for a fact.

Just read this about two golfers hit by lightning yesterday. It seems that its around the Lock March course but not 100% sure. Hits home as we all have been caught on a course during a storm. Hopefully they recover.

What a turn around from his first round, tied for 120 after the round on Thursday and then played 20 under for the next three days and a 72’ EAGLE to win it all. Congrats and another great boost for CANADIAN golf.

Had the privilege and honour of watching Mr. Longtee two hop his tee shot from 160 into the bottom of the cup on the 4th hole at Champlain yesterday for an amazing ace!!!

I guess if you have minor health issues its best to cancel your golf game for a few days until the air air quality improves. Kind of scary looking outside right now. Keeping all windows and doors closed is s good idea. Be safe folks.

Heads up... While playing 18 holes today, my son was pulled off the course on hole 14 with his cart at 7:30 because the back shop says they need to wash the carts. Why would a course sell you a cart for 18 holes at 4:00pm, but then send the marshalls to pull you off. That is the strangest golf...
