Played Mountain Creek on Thursday and got "surprised" at the course when we were checking in. They told us that 15 greens were punched, and it turned out that some of them had very LARGE punch holes, and NO SAND. Made for miserable chipping and putting.

Don't have to tell you to drink a lot of water if you are venturing out on the course next few days. I am playing tomorow and will be carting thank you. Please be careful and aware of heat strokes. No fun at all.

Well pretty much done with outdoor golf this year unless we get some really nice weather. Played yesterday and had enough. On the up side, indoor golf starts Nov 7th for our 4some. My season was pretty crappy as i struggled to stay focused. Hope you all had a good season.

Like i stated a few days ago, Buckingham greens have been crosscut making them a bit hard to put but, they will be okey within a week. The rest of the course is in good shape.

Housing development scheduled to have started this year will be delayed another year. GM Stacie Beverage says that no construction is expected in 2024. Great news for golf on the Tay. I played twice last week and the course was in excellent condition. Although greens were scheduled to be punched...

Why is it so difficult for some courses to give a heads up on aeration..Dragonfly always has it up.on their website kudos to them..however I called Pakenham and a clueless employee did not know if they were doing them this week .I have a tee time Wednesday and don't like surprises when I show up....

Anybody played there recently, years ago it was a real good course, new owner with not much money brought it down big time. Last year I booked a tee times they overcharged me at the course, had a hard time to get my money back and only 2 fairways had green grass on them.
