I bought mine last year, it is a cool piece of engineering.
Determined to keep the rough trimmed. One swing at a time.

Granted Mr. Pare and Mr. Indio still have a few more years of "experience" than me (LOL!), but I'm almost into my mid-thirties (oh man, did I just say that), and anything I can do to keep me feeling fresher later in rounds is a bonus to me. Don't think I'll ever carry again.....don't think I could if I wanted to. Lugging around a staff bag wouldn't be much fun.

Is there a difference between the 2009, 2.0 and the 2008, 2.0 Clicgear push cart?

Hmmmmmmmmmm..... It has disappeared from the GT website - Was there a couple of days ago, though.
Cheers!

You're right. I was looking at it yesterday and they had it marked down to $175. I saw a note on the clicgear facebook page that the 3.0 model was supposed to be released in mid to late April for $229 http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=8175157205.

3.0 has been in GT for at least a week now. Thinking about upgrading from my 1.0

Sun mountain! Mine has a seat. I actually borrowed a clic gear from a friend last season, when my v1 was in the shop, & liked it quite a bit. I've now used the bag boy express 180, the sun mountain v1 and the clic gear 1.0. I liked them all. I will say that Sun Mountain repaired my smashed up wheel no questions asked. I wonder how my wheel even got smashed in the 1st place? Any thoughts hoolio?

I wasn't driving, but you could contest that had I not been pre-occupied with attempting to kill myself "Leaving Las Vegas" style, that I would have been in a better position to stop that incident.
This is golf equipment we're talking about. You don't actually have to see a tangible gain to purchase something new and shiny... Right Geoff?
I actually like the little basket idea. It looks like it would hold a bag of cookies quite nicely.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

The 3.0 has been at GT for a few weeks now. The retail price is still the same as 2.0 before it was discontinued. All remaining stock of 2.0 have been marked down to around $170 - so get them while they last.
3.0 basically has the same chassis as the 2.0. The improvements are in:
- beefier hand brake and better location
- bigger accessories compartment
- additional net basket for accesories
- foam handles has been replaced with more durable rubber handles
Unfortunately, they didn't reduce the weight nor the fold-down size.

Actually I forgot, that hand brake on the clic gear was not very good. It could be that something was wrong with the one I was using, but it felt like it was about to bend or break just before it finally engaged.
The brake on my sunmountain is easy to use, adjust and it works.Andrew

I had the same problem with the 2.0 hand brake. If you can shoot some WD-40 into the cables at both ends to loosen up the tension. You might also need to adjust the tensioners at both ends. I did this to mine and it works like new.
