Anyone have a plastic or metal shop? I am thinking along the lines of the Cameron puter bag tag. I have never seen anything like that at a trophy shop.

Look out, JVincent. I have my 2 and 3/4 hours sleep after arriving home this morning from Winnipeg at 2:30 a.m. If I don't fall asleep in the middle of our round, you are in trouble.

Who am I kidding? This will be a disaster for me, but one thing's for certain. I will be smiling all the way.

You should play without sleep more often.

We both hit the ball pretty well from tee to green but there were lots of putts looking into the hole and not falling today for both sides.

Mike fought back from 3-down to square it all up on the 18th and two extra holes solved nothing either.

Any suggestions from the other ladder folks on how to handle this?

Would have liked to but we were playing at SB and they course was full. The first marshall we asked about continuing gave us a very quick "No" but the second on (who I know) said we could go for a couple extra.

Unfortunately neither of us was able to close the other out.

Does the ladder not have a tie option?

When i try to finalize a challenge , it only gives me one date Fri 29th 6.00 am , any reason why?

Because lms scheduled it for that date. Go ahead and finalize it. You can report a loss early.

The ladder s/w wouldn't let me choose the correct date.

But you are correct, Will can report his loss early

.

Maybe Nat will let us use "his" ladder s/w once he finishes it.

I think they might be, but Will is playing on the 29th, so I guess I will see him in Calif.

I believe the limits on when you can schedule a match are related to the time he has to finalize it. If he has 4 days to finalize, then the system won't let the match be scheduled for tomorrow. This is more of an issue now that we extended the finalizing deadline to 4 days from 2.

Dan,

I beat Rezadue in my first match and he was 1 rank ahead of me. Even after reporting the win, it still shows as if he his ahead of me. Shouldn't I have passed him with the win? Can this be fixed before I confirm my win vs psniddy?

On the same issue, I lost to AndrewMGA and after reporting and confirming the outcome of the match, I am still ahead of him in the ladder rankings.

Well, I edited the ranking for these, but this ladder software is not looking good. The basics were tested and working, but it seems that some of the edits to the database I have been doing to get around the lack of admin tools have caused some problems.

Nat... we may need your talents here!

I think the current ladder was a great experiment, but The software is not up to the task. Nat has graciously offered to help out. This will obviosly take time. Stay tuned.

I'll be taking the ladder offline ASAP. I'm very sorry it did not pan out.

what will this mean for pending matches?

i assume we can run all the scheduled ones and just keep track of them so we don't have to reseed the new software?

I'd say let the existing matces run out and start the seeding based on the results of those. We can keep track manually. No more challenges though.

I'm guessing there may be a "bug" in the new ladder s/w that keeps Nat at the top no matter who wins.

With all the hype I wish I would be around to see the match in person.

With all the trash talking it probably won't be much of a match, I call someone having a train wreck of a day.

It looks like we might have a ladder restart anyway. Are you in town the week of the 2nd? I'm off that week and will be playing a bunch.
