    back from Vancouver Island

    Wow, gorgeous. Played Cordova Bay, Olympic Fields, Bear Mountain, didn't get a chance to try the others (heard Gorgevale was great). Have nothing but good things to say. Cheap, fantastic views, and good conditions...

    For anyone out there, BearMountain is a MUST...incredible course.

    Thank you ShovellOver, DKilbank and others for the recommendations. Now I'm back just in time for our season...could life be better?

    These are nice, did you play Crown Isle in Comox? Very nice, so scenic it was difficult to focus on golfing!!!

    Only got 4 rounds in, 2 at Bear, 1 at Olympic, 1 at Cordova (and one at a par 3 with my dad). Crown Isle / Gorge Vale are definitely on the list for next time.
