visiting Kanata area - where to golf?
I am supposed to set up a golf game or two for people coming to Kanata for a wedding in August. I don't live in the Ottawa area so need help!
Could someone advise a good course or two to go to that is:
public
reasonably priced, not top end, not bottom end
fairly conveniently located to 417/416 interchange area where visitors will be staying (Comfort Inn)
Thanks in advance.

The link worked for me.
What about Eagle Creek?

Golfing near Kanata
You might also want to consider playing a round at Greensmere. It's a nice, challenging course even considering its rather youthful age with wonderful greens. Here is the site address: http://www.ottawagolf.com/greensmere/index.htm

Eagle Creek
I think no one mentioned it because you wanted mid price courses. EC is high end .... (last year $85 no cart).
Stonebridge / Greensmere / Loch March all great tracks.

I just found out the reception is at Irish Hills G&C Club. What is it like?

Kanata
Andre, it's not you. The Stonebridge site is quite slow loading. I have an Ultra High Speed connection and it took quite a while to load. That said, it's a very nice site once you get there.

The wedding reception is very close to Loch March just below and right of the "constance lake" label on the map

Cedarhill is another suggestion. It is two minutes from the 416/417 interchange.
Keep in mind, not all courses allow more than 7 day advanced booking. Since good tee times fill up quickly in this city try find a course which allows early bookings.

Most courses will accept advance bookings form out of town guests if you give them a Visa number. The only real concern is getting bumped by a tournament, but that would be rare, and then they would certainly help get you on welsewhere.
