    Expensive at half the price!

    I have seen some sets in the Golf Town store in Toronto. For that price, I would expect the clubs to hit the ball for me, so I could really relax during my round and just sit in the cart. Think of it as extra high definition television.

    honma is the clubs for rich guys that can't really golf. Like Trump uses these clubs and Marc Anthony does as well!

    Yeah they have gold plating on them.. Personally I think they look like crap but thats just me.. lol

    I played with a Senior Executive at a local muni in San Jose (Silicon Valley) back in 2001 who had the whole set, driver included. His executive assistant told me that he was a bit of a golf nuts and needed the most expensive stuff... He had paid close to US$1000 for the driver alone.

    the point of them is not to look good, its to say that I play "Honma". But you are right, for $40,000 clubs you would think they would make them look good.

    I played with a guy about a month ago that had a Honma driver. I didn't think nothing of it. Doesn't look any better that the regular OEM's and it didn't seem to perform any better either. I guess these are the rich man's clubs
