Steve,
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!! Just wanted you to know that it's legal to play golf while wearing one of those "suits of armour"... only a bit noisy for your FCs.
Glad you're alright and that it missed your eye -- maybe a full faceshield from a machine-shop?
See you out on the links.
Cheers,Thanks for the screen-time.

Thats a bummer man, same with the guy with eye surgery. not yelling fore is a sin.
No one on earth can avoid a 3 wood ball so close, so you are lucky it wasn't worse. Just be glad the story doesnt end with: "What a shame, he was such a nice guy too."
Glad all is well.

Found the tree in my pics from our first visit of the year.

Cripes!! I go away for 2 weeks and the whole place goes to crap! So much for the old notion of keeping your eye on the ball.
Thank god you were already used to seeing double.
Cool new way to smooth out all those golf wrinkles caused by excessive sun exposure. The application needs some work though, too time consuming. Next time, just stand 20 yards in front of him on the practice range. A small bucket should do just fine.
Seriously, you are one lucky so and so. Another inch or so left and we'd be calling you Pirate Steve, or worse...(whew.)
In cat math you probably used up about 6 lives there.
It could be worse, you could be in Mike Cameron's shoes after his attempted flying lip-lock with Carlos Beltran. Ouch.
You may want to consider wearing a helmet and visor.
Get well soon bud. See ya next Sunday. When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

It's awful,
I got hit in the side of the face right near my ear last night playing night golf. Wasen't a long shot but it sure hurts. My sympathies to the rest of you; those more seriously injured get well soon.

As LobWedge said..."Cripes I go away for two weeks too and the whole place falls apart.
Take better care of yourself amigo! We'd hate to have Dan stuck with running the whole show. Just imagine how long it would take him to go around and pick up all the signs after our events? Come to think of it, with our timing at a few he could have done it easily!!!!
