Painful to watch
Unless a the golf gods create a miracle, it looks like Eldrick won't be around for the weekend. That will just seem strange to have the weekend at a major and no Tiger.
So much for the chance of seeing Tiger run off four consecutive majors."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Just heard an interview with Charles Barkley. Great answers to "who is in better condition, you or Tiger?" And the answser was................ "Tiger has a six pack and I have a keg" followed by ........."who brings only six beer to a gathering anyway?"

I think it'll be nice to have an entire 2 days watching golf without seeing Tiger scartch his crotch, eat his banana, sneeze, wipe his nose, wipe Stevie's nose etc.

Kersplash on #4, and with that it is all but confirmed that Tiger will not be around for the weekend.
And painful because after watching the displays he put on in the Masters and Opens, to see him shoot many over par just hurts to see, in my eyes anyways."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

I liked Barklay saying "Don't show his mouth" right after Tiger put it in the water. Was he expecting an f-bomb?

reminds me of when Charles and Tiger were playing a pro-am a few years back:
Tiger: Hey Charles did you hear they are building one of those big box stores around here?
Charles: No, I hadn't. Where?
Tiger: In between your ball and mine.

What I find painfull to watch is Tiger Tiger Tiger when there are 140 OTHER players out there 74 of whom will actually make the cut.
Why should we care more about watching Tiger sweat through his shirt when there are people I'd rather watch PLAY WELL!
If were gonna watch guys struggle to make the cut, whay aren't we seeing every shot Duval makes?
Isn't there a chick flick on somewhere?

08-12-2005 03:11 PM #162 reasons: Tiger lovers want to see him possibly make the cut and shoot the lights out on the back nine and Tiger Haters want to see him play poorly and miss the cut.

Eldrick
Ah crap Eldrick is getting closer to the cut line. Someone needs to "STEP ON HIS BALL". I also think it would be nice not to have to watch him for every shot this weekend. Good thing is if he makes the cut he will go off so friggin early the TV cameras will still be covered up to protect them from the dew
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

You Tiger "dis-likers" gotta admit, it made for pretty good drama today on the last few holes in the 2nd round, felt like a Sunday finish!

Amazing that all you Tiger hatters always complain about the Tiger threads but always manage to be present in those threads. Pathetic!!!
Go Tiger, climb that leaderboard.
Go Phil runaway with the lead.Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

Heres the thing
If Tiger had missed the cut, the major will probably be remembered as being the FIRST major Tiger missed the cut at.
So that's why the networks showed so much Tiger. Even if he's going to miss the cut, that's big news
It's all irrelevant now. Made the cut. All the haters need to just shut up now.
