So Monday, all the road blocks are coming down. Just announced on CTV news. Now we can just go play golf, go fishing etc.. and stop arguing about all this nonsense. Enjoy all, life is short and lets be safe out there.

Does anyone know of any courses in Quebec that will have their practice range open when they open their courses. Or any ranges themselves that will be open.

Does anyone know what the current protocols are at Rockland GC ? Is the half-way house serving food ... food cart on the course ?

After doing 2 18's so far.
Pine View Executive:
Nice set up with the barricade with person asking what time people start at. There was a beer girl going around which was nice, she was wearing gloves and asked to put in the tip so no touching involved with tap cards. Executive hole revamp made GPS watch's useless at the start and end of round. Putting greens were in rough shape with aeration hole still very present, putting wasn't that great because of this. They are using pool noodles in the cup, and that doesn't affect the put at all.
Emerald Links East/West:
No barricade to control times. I had a Tee Off at 10:36 AM and was Teeing Off at 10:00AM due to cancellations. But not a big deal at all. They also had a beer girl going around. The putting greens were better then Pine View, the aeration holes were flattened making putting better. There was still bouncing due to the aeration flattening but was manageable. They also use a pool noodle in the cup. Sometime the noodle was taller then others making the ball lip out on smooth puts(I can deal with that, if it lips out and stays inside 12 inches it's a hole out).
Over all so far I've been happy. The fact we can golf is great news. Courses are doing what they can. I believe the rules said no putting practice or chipping greens are to be used. There were quite a few people using them at Emerald Links.
Now I have a great sunburn and got to test my new clubs. Have fun guys and gals on this long weekend.
I'd love to go on Monday but no one to go with.

With Phase 3 kicking in at the end of the week for a good portion of Ontario any chance this will mean flags will be able to be removed and rakes back in bunkers?

I don't believe so, think we will be doing the no flags and no rakes for a while yet.

I kinda like the rules right now not having to rake the bunker and allowed to move it around. Golf is hard enough as it is. If you can't get out of bunker, you want all the help you need (improved lie ). Of course this is different in competition rounds and weekend wager.
As for the flagstick, I like it in 100% time so no change is ok.

Leaving the pins in is killing my putting. Just cant get used to it on short putts
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

All you have to dois carry a wet microfiber rag in a plastic bag and voila. You can use it to wash balls or clubs. Works great. Replace every few days.

We ride and my wife has a small jar of soapy water for cleaning balls etc. Especially any found balls. Dip them in soapy water and retrieve them with your fingers. No virus that way. We make a point of not touching anything on the course. Not even tees laying around.
