E6 ii
Any more info on this beside Corey's YouTube video?
Looks about as good as perfect parallel, and looks to have a certain release date.
Check out this video on YouTube:

Thanks jf. No more info. Lots of questions but even in my conversation with Trugolf sales and support last week, they have no idea when it will be released. The video seems to suggest the fall of this year but who knows!

Looks like they've set up a dedicated website for the E6 software now. They've posted cory's video from the pga show introducing E6Golf II.

I mentioned a while back that the E6 has a DLL for the GC2. Not sure why its not offered by Foresight. I would suggest somebody give them a call.

Wowzer! Best lighting effects I have ever seen in golf software. If the ball physics work out I may have to talk to my banker or sell the wife's vehicle! So long Perfect Parallel and Red Chain.

Yup. Looks amazing and appears to be on schedule. Not a single screen shot from red chain.

Got an email from E6
Thank you for your interest in E6 II. Currently E6 II does not have a release date so I don’t have any specs to send you at this time. We have designed the software to run on most boxes that can run E6. Although new graphics cards will get you a more optimized performance. I hope that helps we will have more information in the coming months we are planning on launching the software this fall.

Will be interesting to see if the Flightscope xi is compatible. Could make a reasonable sim package.

I'm also interested to see if the Xi will be compatible with sim software.
The initial information I received from Flightscope indicates that the Xi will only be compatible with the Flightscope Skills App and will not have the capability to be used as a sim. It could be available by July and they said it will retail for $2,500. They did not give a price for the Xi LE and didn't give information on the difference in features between the Xi and Xi LE.
It looks like the X1 Tbox is still in the works. Hopefully it will be available with E6-ii and they'll have the bugs worked out with the software by early 2014.

I still have my X1 TBox (we are one of the beta testers), but we have not done ANY work on it since about a year ago. They said that they have it on their to do list, but it is not a priority at this time. So, in other words, don't anticipate this coming out any time soon
However, if / when they do get it fixed, it will be compatible with the E6II software.
As for the Xi, Cote is correct in that they are just working on getting it going with the app integration.
Happy Golfing,
Cory

What about the The FLIGHTSCOPE SIM. Can someone point me in the direction of compatible software. It think it is About Golf Limited.
Also this unit has to be placed in front of the tee box not behind. Also have people played WORLD TOURS II? Does anyone have a link?

I was informed yesterday that Flightscope is working with TruGolf on sim integration. Their goal is to release the integration once E6 II releases.
It will be compatible with all models of the Xi (Xi and Xi+).
And Flightscope has talked with The Golf Club regarding sim integration but so far the only planned sim software is TruGolf's.

Hey All,
The FlightScope X2 works with the E6 software:
http://www.par2pro.com/shop/index.php?cPath=23_50_63
- we have been using it for a while now and it works well
However, since the X2 does not read putts, you either need to manually enter the # of putts or have the software automatically enter the # of putts based on your lie.
You maybe be referring to the FlightScope sensor that was made for aboutGolf but has been discontinued for a while (due to lack of accuracy).
FlightScope released a new X1-TBox about 3 years ago that would work off the same principal and be compatible with E6; however, they could not get it working properly and have shelved the idea for a while (I have a beta X1-Tbox and would love to get it going, but don't think that it will be worked on for a few years if ever).
Hope that helps - happy golfing!
Cory

I suspect the True Putt from a TrueGolf would likely work for putting like it does for the Trackman and E6 integration. It's about a $1k add on.

I think that this was the unit that Cory spoke to above. You might want to reach out to him as he seems to be aware of this model.

Unfortunately the TruPutt currently does not work with the FlightScope system. Just the Trackman.
If you have the units that are placed behind the screen, you may want to contact aboutGolf and/FlightScope, but not sure if they are supporting it any more.
Let us know how you make out.
Cheers,
Cory

Just checked the Truegolf website and they are now saying that the software update is not due to come out until Winter 2014. I wonder how they interpret that as it could mean before dec 31, but I think they really mean before Mar 21 2015. I suspect also that this is just for the 1.6 release. This will put them at over two years from announcing that an update was coming soon.

From what they have told me, the 1.6 version will be the 'new release' and that they will get back on E6ii once the 1.6 has been released (so it sounds to me like we won't see the E6ii for quite some time).
Hopefully 1.6 will be as awesome as it sounds

Does anyone know if E6 version 1.6 allows online play using different hardware platforms competing against each other?

Agree with Bubba, It is not available at the moment, but my understanding is that it is planned to allow online play using different platforms.
