Ins and Outs of Golf Cages
It seems most golf cages that I see online, they just sell the corner fittings (if frame only), and if it's a kit, they will include the netting.
From what I have seen, there seems to be 2 different types of materials: PVC and some steel or cast that uses EMT pipes (no idea what EMT stands for). For those in the know, is there one better than the other and is there an optimal size, would 3/4" be sufficient? PVC is a lot lighter, but is it sturdy enough? If it is, why use the cast or steel type fittings and poles/rods?
The fittings seem to be really cheap online, Around $2 each for 1" PVC corner fittings:

Is that all there really is to building a cage since you buy the poles/rods at your local hardware store anyways?
Anybody in the know help out a golf sim newbie?! Thanks from me and many others.

EMT are electrical conduits. You can buy them at your local hardware store. I would get the 1" corner fittings and 1" EMTs.
Attach a golf net around it and on top, then attach the screen with bungie cords. Very simple and cheap way to get setup quick.

Would you not just wrap the bungee around the conduit pipe at the top and sides of the front part of your cage?
