It was #14 and only because the drainage had backed up and was causing water to spill out on to the fairway. they had dug up the drain on the
outside of the property to run it back into the storm sewer so it should be much better by today.

Going out to Falcon Ridge for 9 after work. Is it going to be a sloppy mess?

Drove by Nation today...
Stopped by to chat and mentioned they were opening Friday... They mentioned that power carts will probably be allowed... Not surprising since there always the dryest course in the spring... BY FAR !!!
Took a look at the greens... Wow.. that was green !!!! That's where I'm playing this weekend for sure...

I played Casselview today and it was soggy, fairways and rough were all spongy if not a bit of standing water. Greens have been aerated with small holes and are rolling fairly slow (compared to Prescott at least, hard to tell just how slow . . .).
Pablo if I were you I would switch back to Prescott for tomorrow instead of Casselview, just my 2 cents.
They are giving out $15 weekday vouchers if you play weekdays and $10 weekend vouchers if you play on the weekend. I asked for a $10 weekend voucher today and they said no, that's not how it works . . .
Maybe by the weekend the grounds at Casselview will have dried out but I would give it another week or so at least before going back.Even I've never heard of me

They will be at regular price but they are handing out a 50% off coupon for your next round... And they said that coupon is valid anyday.. including weekends.. That's pretty good...

I'm assuming it will be wet which will mean cart path only which can be a pain in the ass on that track.

Ah kk, cause someone had mentioned they stopped at Nation earlier in the thread and that carts might be out this weekend, I was going to say, I haver never seen Cart Path Only at Nation ever, so I doubt that would happen, the friggin place drains like a spaghetti strainer!

Casselview today, was quite soggy and greens nowhere near the quality of Prescott's. 45 is not worth that place mid-season let alone with greens like plinko boards but fairways were decent for this time a year and greens were quite receptive. 30 after 2pm is well worth it. Hard to complain golfing this early but it was just frustrating hitting 14 greens and shooting 73. Can't make anything!! Golf is golf tho!!

Played View Moulins yesterday.
After playing Precott sunday... Vieux was pretty ty!
Fairways were pretty wet and a few holes had pretty large puddles across the fairway.
Greens have huge punch holes and were very slow.

Just watched the first twosome of the year play #10 at the Marshes. One of the dudes was wearing shorts.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Played Falcon Ridge last evening - they only have 10 holes open (all of the ones on the east side of the running path).
A few holes were real soggy, but overall it was surprisingly not bad. Greens were in pretty good shape - real slow, but not punched or anything and rolling true. Could be a good call for a tune-up 9 for any Corporate Golf members out there. Cheap.

Casselview today, greens are good but fairways are so wet and soggy. Playing on wet lies all day and some tee-boxes temporary and adanced to ladies tees in some cases.
Not really worth 45.00 by itself but, $15.00 rebate on next game and a free beer to boot made it bearable ( almost)
Would play Presscot way before .
OOPS !!! Wrong post. Please move to Spring conditions.
Thanks

Played Lombard Glen today; for the most part very nice to play. Some wet spots and plugged balls but will dry up quick in this heat!
Some greens were slow and wet others were dry and quick. Learned to walk the green and if my spike mark showed moisture hit it a bit harder and if dry play summer stroke!!!!!!
Course got me by 10 today and I will take that for my starting point.

Fairways very dry but they were punched. Lots of crap on the fairways and bird poop on the greens. Greens were rolling nice but slow! No gps in their carts and cart path only. Lots of walking. I dunno what I scored prob 85? but GoingLow shot 70. He was a boss with the putter. Spectacular weather, nobody on the course. A great day.
$120 for two rounds, I'll wait a month before heading back.

Agree with NoKids.......but it was the least wet of any course I have played this year.....greens on the front were cut and rolled and back were not....
Great day, finished up with patio at Locals Heroes Bells Corners was even better.....
