    Yikes !!! Snow

    Quite a jolt seeing all the snow that came down last night. They say that it will all go away today, tomorow, at the latest.Hope to get out one more time, at least.

    Keeping one eye on the weather, and another on the Fall Specials and Closing List. Hoped to play Pineview & Canadian Thurs & Fri. Hope they don't consider this snow "SNOW". Come on Global Warming!

    The system is almost already past us so let's hope that the sun melts what is here. By Friday it will all be gone and the courses like Vieux Moulins and Gatineau, CHamplain will open again.

    Teresa and I drove from Sherbrooke to Augusta, Maine in that blizzard yesterday. That was the slowest (25 to 45 mph) and most exciting ride I every took on that leg of the trip. Thank goodness for winter tires and no idiots on the road.
    Proud member of the 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ottawa Golf Ryder Cup teams.

    That might have been the most prudent course, but the roads were passable with great care, and I wasn't going to miss Thanksgiving with dad and the family for the first time in 40 years.
