Do you have an "easy" course where you always score well?
I have played 6 rounds this year and have been hitting the ball really well.
But my scores are much lower than usual because the courses I have played fit my game very well, and are not tough courses for me.
One of my rounds was at a "tougher" course and my score was 12 shots higher than the average for my other 5 rounds.
I was wondering if anyone else has a course that they just find very easy to play?
And I am not talking about white tees vs blue tees or anything like that. I always play blue tees.
For me Stonebridge is a course that really fits my game and I don't find any of their holes very tough. But I could go play another course that is supposed to be easier than Stonebridge, and shoot 7 or 8 shots higher!

All a mental thing I'm sure everyone has that course(s).

Cloverdale links for me. Should always be an "easier" course. It is where I've had my 2 lowest rounds 77, 75. But I've also shot high 90's here too. .

The less hazards on a course, the better my scores.

Manderley's original 18 ... which I guess now would be South/Central minus a few holes.

Canadian - not so much that it's easy, as the fact that I was a member there for a summer, so I just know it really well. Course knowledge makes a big difference in making the right decisions, and avoiding big scores on individual holes.

I am capable of playing well or butchering any course that I play.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Cloverdale and Predator at Greyhawk both if its not windy. Anderson Links because it has 6 par 5's and 6 par 3's which aren't too tricky. I personally don't enjoy getting beaten up by a course...easier is fine by me

Strangely enough, I've always had trouble with Predator, but played much better on Talon. Outaouais has been good to me over the years too. Stonebridge... somehow I usually end up shooting crappy scores there but always walk away satisfied with my game. I guess it's just the satisfaction of hitting a few really difficult shots well
I'll also add that ever since I started tracking my handicap I rate my rounds by the index I played to on that day. Once I plug in a score into RCGA database it tells me whether I played as a 10 handicap or as a 25. Sadly, it's been closer to the latter as of late.

I find Stonebridge to really suit me as well. I like Outaouais but find it challenging enough to be rewarding. I find Champlain always got me a good score last year.

Chateau Montebello, the view and the quality of the course take my mind out of the golf gutter and I usually play well there. Might also be the wobbly pops that we consume on the boat ride there!!!

Some courses just fit your eye and game better, for me I don't like tight short courses, long resort style courses 6500-7000 yards with some room to loose and I can light up!

Mountain Creek and Copperdale work for me (although I am/was a member at each course, so familiarity does help). But I can't even get the low scores now as the game is quickly spiralling down the drain (playing once a week doesn't work for me, but I'll take that over not playing at all). I have lowered my expectations accordingly and am pretty satisfied with just breaking 80, which I've done twice this year so far. Could've been a 77 on Sun if not for a stupid three put then a brutal double on the following par 3. D'OH!!!!

Mississippi and Mont Cascade are the courses I score best on for some reason. Blues at Mont Cascade and Whites at Mississippi.
This year I am not scoring well at all.Obviously you're not a golfer.

Cloverdale as well, my best two rounds ever have been at cloverdale. Maybe since there is no trees there is less worry. The greens are nice and big there too.

I always scored well at Irish but that was a few years ago, haven't been in while. Cloverdale now is always good for an ego boost.

Any of the Tiger woods12 course on my PS3. Other then that any course can kick my ass on any given day!

I wouldn't call it an "easy" course, but I have certainly scored more low rounds at Eagle Creek than any other course.

Actually the other course that I really enjoy playing when it is in good shape is La Cite out in Hawkesbury. If you haven't made the drive I highly recommend it.

Lately I've been playing Greensmere Premier at least 12 strokes better than Legacy. Don't know why as the fairways are about as wide. I'm rarely on another fairway on Premier but often in the bush on Legacy. (Esp. #1,2,10&11)

Cloverdale, Anderson and Casselview for me. All my (5) rounds of 90 or less have been on those. I feel more confident there because they are open. I feel less pressure to hit the fairway and I then hit more fairways. Stupid brain getting in the way of everything.

69 this year at Cedar Glen. I missed a ton of shots at Cloverdale last week and still carded a 75. My average score is 80.6; 6.1 index.
