Witch one is more likely to happen this weekend?
Mike Weir being the first player in 79 years to threepeat the Nissan Open?
OR
Tiger Woods finishing in the T4 or better to regain number ONE in the world?Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

I say the Tiger Woods choice as I think it will be easier for him to finish in top 4 than Mike winning for a 3-peat. I hope Mike and Tiger are in the final group on Sunday and Mike wins.

I would love to see a 1-2 finish for weirsy and Woods. Vijay will drop to number 3 before the years up behind Mickelson and Woods.

The problem is that it doesn't really matter if Wood's wins this week. Because of the way the points system works, unless he wins next week, the points that he won for winning the Match Play two years ago will be lost and he will drop to #2 again. I believe Vijay was knocked out in the first or second round two years ago, so more than likely he will gain points, whereas Woods has to win, just to keep the same points. I believe the points are favouring Singh for the next couple of weeks.

I put Mike in there, because I think he's heating up. I'm usually wrong, however.

They may have a 1 hole playoff between Scott and Campbell as it is supposed to be rain again today at the Nissan.

Which (vs witch) means that Mike would still be able to 3-peat next year if the tourney is canned after 36 holes!

Adam Scott defeated Chad Campbell in a sudden-death playoff at the Nissan Open, which was shortened to 36 holes.
