Red Wings on the warpath
All year I prepared myself for the very real possibility of no Red Wings in the playoffs.
Now look!
#5 seed in the west is within striking distance.
Even winning the division is a remote posibility.
Only 6 pts back of Chicago who is in a tailspin. .
Finish strong Wings!
You only get out of something what you put into it

I figured the Wings would sneak into 8th then "upset" San Jose in the first round (much like the Ducks did last year). But now Det has gone nuts and will end up somewhere int 4-5 seed area. Given how some of the Western "favourites" are sputtering a bit and Detroit is fresh (so many were hurt for so long) I'd almost put money on the Wings coming out of the west.
I don't have an ulcer - I am just a carrier.

It's all in The Mule
I think Franzen "completes" the team. Ever since he's been back they are 13-2-3.

Would anyone really be shocked if the Sharks still go out in the first rd?

First round exit by the Sharks a surprise? Maybe for the one deluded Sharks fan I know... The rest of us have at least one foot grounded in some vague semblance of reality

Are you all just baiting Golfbum?
All right, I will too. The 2010 NHL playoffs will once again spotlight how soft Joe Thornton is...when the going gets tough, little Joey disappears!

Pavel Datsyuk, damn that guy can stick handle. The game winning goal tonight vs Anaheim was sick.

I like the announcers on RDS, they're very unbiased.

I say my Red Wings don't get out of the first round this post season. They do not impress me at all.
I bet a dozen recycled Bridgestone e6/e7 balls I bought at walmart, $15 value.
Who's betting against me?
$15 to me if I win, Bridgestone balls are yours if I am wrong.

Dude they just beat the hottest team in the NHL last night. As for the bet rotflmao.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Coach Babcock isn't impressed either. He's been calling out his players for a couple months now. If they can flip a switch come playoff time that's great, but the West is tough.
