Well, the skycaddies do give you the carry distances on some hazards but I am not sure why not on all hazards. Not sure what makes them not give a carry distance for a hazard?

What is not fair is that he buys a NEW Upro and a Garmin and compares it to a 2 to 3 years old Skycaddie...
He should had compared it to the SG5... not the SG3... totally bias...If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

maybe he doesn't have money to buy a new sg5 after dropping a grand paying for a upro and a garmin

His rationale was the the SG 5 just basically adds colour over and above the functionality of the SG 3 was was pretty much right up until the latest up-date
