Anyone think they're close to catching The Fugitive?

yes, 3 clues given out every day, 8am, noon and 4pm, you then have to walk around asking people "Are you the Hot 89-9 $25,000 fugitive" and if that person is, you get $25K. The catch is that if you don't ask the question exactly right, the person will say no. So far, its almost 2 weeks in and still on the loose. Great contest.
I have all the clues but still too many theories on where the perosn could be...I actually haven't taken the time to go ask anybody yet, maybe this weekend!

Must be an Ottawa contest. I hadn't heard of it, but it sounds like fun.
And 25K is a good prize...Zeemine

Oh, the anonymous promise...the recent clues are all you really need. The first bunch were very non-specific and somewhat difficult to glean any information out of. I think I'll keep looking myself!
(man will i ever feel dumb if you do win though...)

Here is one clue..............beep beep beep.....wait a minute....why even bother giving just 1 clue, no clue for you ! I find many of the clues are very GENERALIZED, including the latest clues. Hey g8r, "Are you the Hot 89.9 $25k fugitive?" Yeah I know, I gotta do it in person.

here's a few
I've only heard a few, here they are....
Thursday Sept 2
Tantrums are for pre-schoolers – not grown men! Chill out a bit, relax, and take out a pen!
Looking for the Fugitive? As obvious as it may seem, the Fugitive isn’t a HOT 89-9 DJ or member of the Street Team
Need to quench your thirst after a hard day at work? Join me for a drink because that’s where I may lurk! Like former Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent once thought:“I Like Being Among Friends” – but I can’t get caught!
Saturday Sept 3
(sing this)
Meow Meow Meow Meow - Meow Meow Meow Meow - Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow – NOT!
Sunday Sept 4
An eye for the moment, an eye for beauty, an eye for detail...
Wednesday, Sept 8
A burger and fries are on the menu, so fast food will surely be the venue.
Today the Fugitive found that their cupboard was bare, so they’ve gone shopping to put food in there!
You’ve had some time to contemplate, the Fugitive is often late!
Thursday, Sept 9
Not usually one to put up a fuss, today the Fugitive travels by bus!
Roses are white, rain is wet… find me today… perhaps at the vet?
It’s not odd, it’s not queer, The Fugitive has a hole in their ear!If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Hot 89.9 Fugitive
Anyone here think they know who it is?
Some of the clues don't seem to make sense.
I wonder if this fugitive is out and about all the time, or if he/she is in seclusion for an extended period of time.
I've asked several people and I get many odd looks. Oh well, maybe I'll stand outside the radio station and wait for employees to exit and ask all of them.

It`s driving me crazy! Now the clues are much more specific, like once they mentioned Tim Horton`s, so I guess if you pick the right Tim Horton`s at the right time you could win.

I heard that someone asked the "Are you the fugitive" question and was told "No" because they didn't ask the question properly.
Does anyone know if there is more than one fugitve? Or is it the same person? It bothers me that they could be switching people and we wouldn't even know it if they were.
Didn't another station try this once?

Last clue at 4pm.
It's friday I need a beer
Elgin street is great
I'll be out til 8.

Is there a pub on Elgin that closes at 8? Or perhaps they are alluding to the TD Canada Trust at Pretoria/Elgin crossover.
I hate these contests because the clues become so freakin obvious after you find out where they find the guy...
Good luck to y'all.

Whoever was in the marshalls cart (not a marshall obviously) approached the guys in our group and asked them which radio station they listened to. When they replied incorrectly they were told about the contest. :cryin

I don't think that's how it works. He won't ask what station you listen to. He may not ask anything. It's your job to walk up to the fugitive and ask. "Are you the Hot Eighty nine nine 25 thousand dollar fugitive?"
The fugitive won't tell you himself you asked the wrong question. There are tons of these stories. People literally having the 25k in their hands. Then they'll say. "Are you the Fugitive Guy?" No offense but Duh! They only mention it 15 times per hour, 24/7. I understand if you don't listen to the station, but these are people who are out looking for the fugitive.
Good Luck.

Is this some kind of weird post that got lost on the interwebs and just made its way out last week?
That contest happened 3 years ago.
