    Taylormade R7 460 Driver Question....

So, I have one with one 12 gram and one 2 gram weight (came with those)....if I want to make the weighting truly "neutral", do I need to have two 7-gram weights (which would total the 14 grams that it first came with), or does it really matter what 2 weights I buy? Thanks.

If you want to keep the swingweight of the club the same then you will need two 7g weights.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

actually, my understanding, having played the driver for a year, was that with the two weights removed, the r7 has a natural draw bias, which is why they promote the neutral ball flight as having the heavier weight in the toe, in effect cancelling out the natural draw bias, by putting two 7 gram weights in there, there may still be some draw bias in the club. You may notice, as I have, that the natural draw bias of the driver along with the weight setting on draw promotes a power draw. I would suggest keeping the stock weights in the driver with the heavier one in the toe(i thought it was 14g and 2g).

I would put a slightly heavier weight in the toe, not necessarily 12 vs 2, you must also remember that your swing can counter any little weight configuration that you set up in the driver.
